Hello,
I've been using IC-7610 for about 3 months. From day 1, I've had a strange "scope bounce". More specifically, on the top of the waterfall display is the signal strength of the signals received. It's basically the same as a spectrum analyzer display. Despite which antenna I use, the spectrum analyzer display bounces up and down. It's almost like the reference level is changing randomly. I can duplicate the affect although not as quickly as the transceiver, by increasing the decreasing the RF gain knob. Moreover, when this happens, it "paints" a striped pattern on the waterfall display, again, as if the RF gain is actually what is "bouncing."
Please take a look at the uploaded video. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
