Where to get a hexbeam?

I'm in Vancouver and I'm just wondering where you guys get a hexbeam or can you DIY it? Appreciate any input!

Quite a few places make them. I bought mine from K4KIO.com. It covers 20 thru 6 meters. When I was shopping for mine, I liked the way that the elements were attached to the boom better than some of the antennas available at the time. I've had it up for 6 years now and it's working fine. I did paint the spreaders with flat black paint before I assembled it.

@Old Ham is right on. K4KIO makes a great commercial antenna that will get you on the air fast.
Building 1 yourself is a classic rite of passage for many hams. I'd suggest you look up the G3TXQ broadband hexbeam plans online, his site has all the dimensions and instructions you would ever need.

Some people DIY theirs using fishing poles, wire and sometimes 3D-printed parts... There are plenty of guides online like VE7IT's detailed build or QRP school's videos.
